Internet/Catalog Distributor Policy
• Dealer must maintain a valid resale permit if required by the state of dealer's domicile.
• Dealer must maintain in the Catalog and/or on the Website (as identified in Authorized Dealer Agreement) a representative presentation of Inland Marine Supply , Inc. manufacturer products and make such products available for purchase by customers through the Catalog and/or Website. Dealer shall maintain a high quality Catalog and Website conveying a high quality and premium image for both INLAND MARINE SUPPLY manufacturers' products and Dealer.
• Dealer must use only INLAND MARINE SUPPLY approved product images in the Catalog or on the Website. INLAND MARINE SUPPLY will, for a fee, provide a fully functional, preloaded website to Dealer. If Dealer prefers to develop their own website, INLAND MARINE SUPPLY will provide images upon request.
• Except with respect to INLAND MARINE SUPPLY-provided content, Dealer agrees to hold INLAND MARINE SUPPLY harmless for claims of copyright violations in connection with any designs, photographs, art or any other content used in the Catalog or on the Website, or any code used on the Website.
• Dealer agrees to update and maintain the Catalog and Website with current information provided by INLAND MARINE SUPPLY. Dealer agrees to notify INLAND MARINE SUPPLY immediately upon making any changes to the Catalog or Website relating to INLAND MARINE SUPPLY's products.
• Dealer is solely responsible for all expenses and fees related to the Catalog and Website.
• Dealer must provide adequate, effective and responsive customer service staff to handle customer inquiries and complaints. Dealer's customer service staff must maintain a working knowledge of INLAND MARINE SUPPLY's manufacturers products and INLAND MARINE SUPLLY's shipping requirements. Customer service issues may be referred to INLAND MARINE SUPPLY as necessary.
• Dealer agrees to present clearly and conspicuously the terms and conditions of its privacy policy, refund policy, and return policy in the Catalog and on the Website.
• Dealer must adhere to and comply with all pertinent State and Federal statutes, regulations and rules applicable to taking orders or conducting business over or through the Internet. All e-commerce must be protected using a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) or Transport Layer Security (TSL).
• The Website must be registered with an Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Accredited Registrar.
• Dealer agrees to advertise and merchandise all INLAND MARINE SUPPLY's manufacturers' products in a manner that is favorable to INLAND MARINE SUPPLY's manufacturers' images and reputations and the public's perception of the value of its products, and to refrain from any price point advertising and discount merchandising that would detract from this image, reputation or perception of value.
• Dealer agrees to submit the Website at least annually to such search engines as INLAND MARINE SUPPLY designates, currently: AOL, MSN, Google, and Yahoo. Dealer further agrees to include in the Website meta tags and all such keywords and key phrases as are provided to Dealer by INLAND MARINE SUPPLY from time to time.
